Description-
Overall Summary
Manages and oversees the day-to-day constituency services and administrative support activities of the Chief Executive Officer. Acts as the primary point of contact for both internal and external constituencies, assists and represents the CEO in communicating with constituents, and handles multiple incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CEO, as they arise.

Essential Responsibilities
Serves as the focal point of initial contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the CEO.
Provides assistance and represents the CEO as appropriate in communicating with internal and external constituents.
Independently researches, prioritizes, and follows up on multiple incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CEO, including those of a sensitive and/or confidential nature; determines appropriate course of action, referral, and/or response.
Work flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends and overtime, as necessary.

Secondary Responsibilities
Manages board related meetings and correspondence to the board with guidance from CEO
Manages and oversees all day-to-day accounting, fiscal control, secretarial, and administrative activities of the executive office.
Provides assistance in the understanding and interpretation of policies and procedures, as appropriate, and ensures that office operations comply with policy provisions and standards.
Manages a variety of special projects for the CEO, some of which may have institutional impact.
Participates in various committees and professional organizations.
Attend workshops, training, and meetings as needed, and as requested.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required education, experience, training
AA degree in Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two years experience related to duties and responsibilities specified
One year experience as an administrative assistant in a lead role or reporting directly to a Director or Officer.
Experience with external communication and contacting and working with the business community.
Experienced in managing interactions with the Board members and other vital business contacts for CEO
Experience maintaining highest level of discretion and confidentiality
Proficient in Microsoft office and Internet
Preferred education, experience, training
Bachelor’s Degree
Non-profit or community health experience.

Certifications/Licenses:
Access to reliable transportation.

Physical Demands:
This position requires:
Sitting, walking, and standing associated with a normal chart room and office environments, some bending stretching; and lifting.
Manual dexterity used to include, but not limited to, standard office equipment, and computer keyboard.
Traveling to work sites including some exposure to outside elements.
Reading and writing in order to review records for accuracy.

Education: Bachelors Degree
