Minimum Qualifications:
One year experience as Echo/ Stress Tech
Completion of an Echo Technician program.
REG DIAG CARDIAC SONOGRAPHER (RG DCS) preferred/desired
Substantial knowledge of: EKG procedures and equipment.
Basic cardiac and human body anatomy.
Basic interpretation of cardiac arrhythmias.
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Ability to: Perform a quality echocardiographic study of the heart including 2D, color flow mapping and TEE procedures of all patient age groups.
Perform stress echocardiographic procedures on adult and geriatric patients with and without contrast. 
Establish and maintain a good working relationship with a wide variety of Hospital personnel.
Maintain a high degree of accuracy regarding all details.
Work with minimal supervision.
Respond effectively in emergency situations.

Comments from the leader for this role : 
It would be helpful if the technician is familiar with the Philips IE33 and Philips Epiq 7 Ultrasound machines. 
We also use Lumedx for our PACs system. These tests are essential for cardiac care.

Duties;

Work with computer billing system. 
Establish and maintain a good working relationship with a wide variety of Hospital personnel.

Work effectively under stress and adjust priorities as circumstances require. 
Organize work assignments, maintaining accurate and complete records. 
Maintain a high degree of accuracy regarding all details.

Read and comprehend technical instructions.
