Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst II to support financial planning, budgeting, and reporting efforts across projects and regions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in evaluating expenditures, forecasting, and supporting data-driven decision-making for fiscal feasibility, resource management, and financial planning. This position collaborates closely with internal Finance teams and Agency leadership to ensure financial accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and support financial analysis and reporting for projects and regional expenditures
  • Assist in generating financial reports using historical and current data to analyze cost and revenue trends
  • Support the fiscal feasibility analysis of proposed programs and projects
  • Conduct research and prepare analyses on resource management, cost control, and fiscal planning
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management based on analysis
  • Contribute to the development of budget proposals and budget narratives for the Request for Proposal (RFP) process
  • Support the preparation of project and regional financial forecasts
  • Assist in automating financial management reports and integrating systems with accounting platforms
  • Analyze and review fiscal data, including direct and indirect allocations
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned in support of department or business needs

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
  • 1–2 years of progressively responsible experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or related functions
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data and reporting
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools; ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Demonstrated initiative, reliability, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong research and analytical thinking skills
  • Team-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Maintains confidentiality and exercises sound judgment

Preferred Qualifications (if any)
  • Experience in public sector, nonprofit, or grant-funded financial environments is a plus
