Description
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with expertise in healthcare business operations, project management, and enterprise technology implementations. This role requires a hands-on project management approach, the ability to engage with executive and department-level stakeholders, and a strong focus on strategic alignment, risk management, and business process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage large-scale healthcare IT projects, from conceptualization to implementation and closure.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory compliance.
  • Facilitate collaboration between project sponsors, team members, business, and clinical stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective communication and reporting of project progress, risks, and milestones to executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Apply Project Management (PM) best practices, following EMPO standards, Six Sigma, Agile, or PMP methodologies.
  • Drive project risk and dependency management, implementing mitigation strategies proactively.
  • Oversee system testing, acceptance, and transition to operational readiness, ensuring business continuity.
  • Provide leadership in gathering business and technical requirements and overseeing system design and development.
  • Support the development and execution of enterprise-level communication plans for project updates and change management.
  • Ensure all hospital and healthcare regulations are followed, including compliance with Soarian Financials and Clinical systems.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education & Certifications
  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Preferred: PMP, Six Sigma, Agile certification.
Work Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of IT project management experience in healthcare operations.
  • Experience managing enterprise technology and financial system deployments.
  • Must have experience with Soarian Financials and Clinical Project Management.
  • Experience leading large Revenue Cycle initiatives, with knowledge of workflows and process metrics.
  • Strong financial and business acumen, with the ability to align projects to corporate strategies.
Technical & Soft Skills
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to solve complex operational challenges.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills for executive-level communication.
  • Ability to build and maintain business relationships through a consultative approach.
  • Proven experience in a PMO environment and understanding of Project Management principles.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
