Job Summary
The Front Desk Receptionist will provide exceptional customer service to patients in a healthcare setting, handling calls, updating demographic information, and managing patient appointments. 
This role requires bilingual fluency in Spanish and familiarity with medical terminology. 
Responsibilities include screening for program eligibility, scheduling appointments, conducting reminder calls, and providing general information. 
A flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, is necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify and update patient demographic information.
  • Screen for program eligibility and gather required information.
  • Schedule patient appointments based on medical need and established guidelines.
  • Perform appointment reminder calls, reschedules, and lab result appointments.
  • Respond to general inquiries and provide relevant information.
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Secondary Responsibilities
  • Attend workshops, training, and meetings as requested.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three months of medical office or customer service experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Bilingual (Spanish) – required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.

Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of medical office experience.
  • Experience in community or public health settings.
  • Familiarity with medical practice management software.
