Job Summary:

  • Work closely with Nurse Manager, clinical staff, organizational leads on planning, coordinating and monitoring all operation aspects in accordance with regulatory requirements and provide effective leadership to staff and oversee the quality and delivery for patient care
  • Implement plans for quality improvement and regulatory compliance activities
  • Manages the daily operations of two outpatient medical practices with several providers
  • Provide direction and guidance to front office staff working closely with the Nurse Manager to integrate front and back office workflows
  • Assists staff with the implementation of clinics goals, policies procedures, and reporting tools through effective use of performance metrics and financial results
  • Manages operational budgets, capital equipment lists; monitor clinics activity and justify variances when necessary; implement effective tools to improve operational efficiency and control costs, including ordering of supplies, and inventory
  • Creates an environment that supports high employee engagement
  • Strategically selects and continuously develops, rewards, retains, and provides transparent performance feedback to all direct and indirect staff

Qualifications:

  • Related Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of health care experience
  • Must have proven ability to drive team and individual performance to reach or exceed key performance metrics
  • Five or more years of healthcare management experience; preferably practice management or healthcare operations
  • Strong analytic skills and understanding of QI process, compliance, project management, and practice transformation
  • Knowledge of UDS, HEDIS and other reporting metrics
  • Knowledge of Public Programs requirements and compliance, such as Family PACT, CPSP, VFC, CAIR, CDPH, Every Woman Counts
  • Knowledge of Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) compliance preferred
  • Knowledge of NextGen workflow and data extraction/reporting preferred
